Free to start · Revoke access anytime · We never sell your data

Everything you need to take back your inbox

ClearMail turns a mailbox with tens of thousands of messages into a short, ranked list of decisions.

See every sender at a glance

ClearMail groups your entire mailbox by sender and ranks them by message count and storage used, so the worst offenders surface immediately.

Unsubscribe in one click

We read the standard List-Unsubscribe header newsletters ship with and process opt-outs for you — no digging through footers for a tiny link.

Bulk archive or delete

Select a sender and clear years of their mail in a single action. Every deletion is previewed and confirmed before anything moves.

Recover Google storage

Attachments and newsletters quietly consume your 15 GB. ClearMail shows exactly how much each sender costs you and how much you get back.

Understand your inbox

Analytics break down mailbox growth, storage trends, and cleanup history so you can see progress over time.

Stay clean automatically

After you unsubscribe, ClearMail can create a Gmail filter that keeps that sender out of your inbox for good.

How it works

Three steps, and you stay in control at every one of them.

01

Connect your Gmail

Sign in with Google and grant ClearMail access. Google shows you exactly which permissions are requested before anything happens.

02

We analyse the metadata

ClearMail scans message headers — sender, subject, date, size, labels — to build your sender breakdown. We never store the body of your email.

03

You choose what to clean

Review the senders eating your storage, then unsubscribe, archive, or delete. Nothing is modified unless you explicitly trigger it.

Your mailbox stays yours

ClearMail needs access to your Gmail to work. Here is precisely what we do with it.

We don't read your email

ClearMail works from message metadata. Message bodies and attachments are never stored on our servers.

Never sold, never used for ads

We don't sell your data, share it with brokers, use it for advertising, or train AI models on your mailbox.

You stay in control

Revoke access from Settings or your Google account at any time, and delete everything we hold in one click.

The Google permissions we request

We ask for the narrowest set of scopes that still lets ClearMail work, and each one maps to a feature you can see in the app.

  • Read, label, archive, and trash your Gmail messages

    Restricted
    https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify

Powers the sender breakdown, storage analytics, and the bulk archive/delete actions you trigger from the Senders and Cleanup screens.

  • Manage your basic Gmail settings (filters and labels)

    Restricted
    https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.settings.basic

Lets ClearMail create the Gmail filters that keep a sender you unsubscribed from out of your inbox in the future.

  • Your name, email address, and profile picture

    Non-sensitive
    openid, email, profile

Identifies your ClearMail account so we can show whose mailbox you are viewing and contact you about the service.

ClearMail's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
